Picture the Love is the husband and wife team of Kim and Eric Rottmayer.
Their story is simple…
Kim started shooting music photography under the name Picture the Sound as her love of music was bursting out of the seams. Her music photography started to flow over into weddings when she was asked by a musician, whom she had done work for to “please, please, please, shoot my wedding”. Kim had never considered the idea or rather had always answered this idea with “No, I’m not a wedding photographer”. It was the convincing of her husband Eric, that maybe she should try it. And to her surprise, she was actually quite good at it.
As the engaged musicians started pouring in, she talked Eric into picking up the camera. His remarkable eye (and art school background) allowed him to catch some amazing shots at different angles. He instantly became part of the package. She also refers to him as her “color guy” as he is a master with Photoshop.
As they continued working together, Eric and Kim noticed that all of their clients had a similar idea of what they wanted out of their wedding photos:
They wanted creative, high quality images, at a reasonable rate, with a photographer who gave them an enjoyable experience.
Eric and Kim being a newly married could relate. Their wedding photography business has been born out of this model. They are committed to creating this experience for brides, grooms, their friends and families, one wedding at a time.
